What is Psychotherapy?

Is therapy worth doing online?

Yes, therapy can be highly effective when done online. In fact, online therapy offers several unique benefits that can enhance the therapeutic experience. It provides the flexibility of scheduling sessions at a time that suits your lifestyle, making it easier to prioritise your mental well-being. Additionally, being in the comfort of your own home can create a safe and private environment for exploring sensitive content, helping you feel more at ease. Online therapy also offers accessibility, making it possible to work with a therapist who may not be in your immediate area. With the right connection and professional guidance, online therapy can be just as powerful and impactful as in-person sessions.

Is Psychotherapy covered by medicare or mental health plans?

Unfortunately not currently. However medicare is under review and we hope that in the not too distant future to be able to offer this to clients. As a result I aim to keep my prices affordable until such time. 

What is the cancellation policy?

I understand life can sometimes get in the way, but as a general rule 24 hours notice is needed for cancelled sessions. 
Should a session be cancelled closer than 24 hours out from your session a $80 fee will apply.
